Some people think it's too late to learn to dance once you hit a "certain" age (this age happens to be different for everyone). I have people come into my class from the age of 24-76, some with dance experience, some without any dance history. But it doesn't stop them. What I've realized is, it takes a certain personality (and nerve) to walk into a brand new experience. Vulnerability is powerful. In order to make gains in life though, you need to take chances and taking a dance class for a dance enthusiast might just be taking a chance, but it will be well worth it.
Take a look through adult dance classes offered in your area. Many times they are geared to the beginner. Check out videos on YouTube to get more comfortable with dance steps. There is a lot out there, so beware! And certainly I would encourage you to come and visit www.phusia.com (that's my site). It will teach you some fun moves, all the in the privacy of your home. In fact today, let's learn one.
It's called the chasse. It is simply, step together step. I use it often in my routines. It is something most everyone can get.
